Castaway Resort offers Poolview Studios, Oceanview Studios, Beachside Studios, and Two-Bedroom Apartments, some located directly on the beach with lagoon views. The two-story Beach House accommodates up to 8 guests and includes a full kitchen, washing machine, and private outdoor dining area. All rooms are air-conditioned with private balconies overlooking the ocean or pool, and daily housekeeping is provided.

Dining

The Castaway Beach Bar serves dinner and cocktails directly on the sand with lagoon views, open daily from 2pm to 9pm. Themed night menus change each evening, and happy hour runs from 2pm to 6pm. A complimentary continental breakfast hamper is delivered to each room, including bread, cereal, milk, juice, and fruit.

Activities & Amenities

Guests have complimentary access to kayaks, snorkeling gear, and beach towels, along with a saltwater swimming pool and sun loungers. The adults-only policy ensures a quiet environment, and bike tours, walking tours, and pub crawls can be arranged. Snorkeling is excellent at nearby Aroa Beach, and the resort provides free on-site parking and luggage storage.

Castaway Resort is located on the sheltered sunset coast of Rarotonga, 6 miles from Rarotonga International Airport. A bus stop directly outside the resort provides easy access to Avarua town and island tours, and car rental services are within walking distance. Nearby attractions include Aroa Beach for snorkeling and Papua Waterfall for natural exploration.
